This stero system is just what I wanted and could not find anywhere else. The sound is clear and bold, the tape deck, while obsolete to some, is one of the features I desired. The 5 disk CD player is easy to use as are all the functions.The only thing I would change is the orange brightness of the display panel and speakers.
I ordered this hifi without checking the measurements. To paraphrase my father-in-law's words. It is described as "mini", but it is very big. Fortunately, J&R music was courteous about taking it back and crediting my account, but I was out a lot of money for shipping. Measure twice. Order once.
I bought this system for my school and it is perfect for our needs. This system plays really loud without distortion. It is really loud, enough to fill up a cafeteria or gym or even outdoors. The addition of 2 microphone jacks even makes it a PA system or great for kareoke. The CD player is sensitive so make sure it is on a rock solid playing base as the bass vibrations can cause it to skip.The students love the looks of the system and were in awe of it. For the money, you can not beat it.
A number of friends have heard it and really loved it. Be prepared, it comes in a really BIG box. One couple loved it so much, they ordered one. But what great performance. Really easy to operate and just great sound quality. I had limited space to place it, but it fit just right. Measure the area you intend to place it prior to purchase.
Again, a superior mini stero system. and put it out there at a hundred dollars less.
Great amp & speakers. LBT-ZX6 has all the features I want and many more that I do not care about.
Memo to Sony: for Geezer Nation, make the same product in a bare-bones system sans the lighting, game crap, etc. Excellent sound.
For the money it won't be beaten. They'll fly off the shelf methinks.
